Not sure how your Friday night went, but mine was spent watching Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, old school version of course. My kids usually watch 30 minutes of a show and then it's back to "mommy what else can we do". So I was surprised (pleasantly) when they became glued to the TV watching my old VHS tape of the classic Wonka movie. All those bratty kids in the movie are great when it comes to teaching our own kids a lesson about being bossy, selfish, or just plain rude. What's worse than being sucked up a pipe or turned into a big fat blueberry! Lots of lessons to be learned from those little Oompah Loompahs too. So next time you are searching for some good TV for the kids (come one, admit it, we all need a break sometimes) pull out Willy Wonka and enjoy!
